Whether you’re looking to produce a multi-episode documentary series or a :30 second commercial for your brand - AV Club Films is equipped to tell your story. We have experience traveling the world to make high end doc’s while also filming national television commercials in our own backyard.

Most “production companies” cut corners by having employees take on crew roles that they aren’t qualified for all to save a buck. When you do this, quality is sacrificed. For us, craft comes first. That’s why we hire professional crew members to focus on what they’re great at and not worry about pulling double duty.

Pre-production is the phase of video production that occurs before filming or recording begins. During this phase, the focus is on planning and preparing for the actual production. This includes activities such as developing the concept or idea for the video, writing a script or creating a storyboard, casting actors or selecting on-screen talent, scouting locations, and creating a budget and schedule. Other pre-production tasks may include assembling the production team, conducting rehearsals and run-throughs, and securing necessary equipment and permits. Essentially, pre-production is the planning phase of video production that sets the foundation for a successful final product.
A production day in video production is when filming or recording takes place according to the plan and schedule developed during pre-production. The crew sets up lighting, sound equipment, and cameras, directs talent and captures footage. The goal is to capture high-quality footage for use in the final product during post-production. The length of the production day can vary, but it typically involves multiple takes of each shot and coordination between the director and crew.
Post-production is the final phase of video production that involves editing, adding effects and music, and enhancing the final product. The editor selects and assembles the best footage, adds sound effects, music, and color correction to achieve the desired look and feel of the video. The end goal is a polished and professional final product that meets the project's objectives.
